The Admissions Process
St. Christopher’s Episcopal Montessori School welcomes children of any race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin.
Application
Upon receipt of the student application form and a $350 non-refundable application fee, your child is placed on our waiting list. Applications are received throughout the school year.
Interview
Preschool and Junior Kindergarten: Parents and the child are invited for an interview and the child will visit the class. If your child is already attending school, a transcript and recommendation from the previous school are required.
Senior Kindergarten through Fifth Grade: Applicants will spend time in the classroom and will be assessed for placement. Student transcripts and teacher recommendations are required and must be received to complete the admissions process.
Acceptance
Acceptance is based upon several factors. St. Christopher’s seeks a match between the family and the School’s educational goals. Pledging parishioners and siblings of current students receive priority. Preschool students must be 3 years of age prior to September 1st. Our toddler program is now accepting applications for 18+ Months – 3 years.

To be eligible for the 10% Parish Discount
you are required to be a regular in worship and required to have made and completed a pledge to the mission and ministry of the Parish for the previous calendar year. (2024).

The total cost includes: Registration Deposit, which includes the Capital Assessment Fee, Veracross Fee, 2 Gala Tickets, Field Day Activities, Marine Biology, Information and Technology (I.T.), International Baccalaureate Support (I.B.), Classroom Supplies, Textbooks, Yearbooks, In-house Field Trips, Class and School Functions, STEM (Grades K-6), Reading and Writing Support (Grades K-6), Chromebooks (Grades 1-6), And An Upper Elementary Overnight Field Trip.
**Tuition Insurance is optional for families using Payment Plan A; however, please note that if you choose not participate in the insurance plan, tuition funds will not be refunded. By participating in the Tuition Refund Plan, I authorize St. Christophers By-the-Sea to process and collect any claim payment to which I am entitled and credit it to my account, paying any excess to me.
*Tuition Insurance is required for all Plan B and Plan C payment plans. This payment will be included in the total tuition cost.
Family Discount for Sibling Enrollment:
